“Requiem for a Soldier” is the theme from the HBO Series “Band of Brothers.” In 2020, Natalja recorded the song as a tribute to the generations of soldiers, from her great-grandfathers who both died fighting alongside the USA during WWII to her husband who is a Veteran of the US Air Force and Persian Gulf War, who have sacrificed for the cause of freedom around the world.
Today, Natalja honors soldiers fighting in Ukraine and their families at home, who are making this same sacrifice. It is a reminder that “Freedom is the sure possession of those alone who have the courage to defend it,” and lends her voice and heart to welcome them into this extraordinary “band of brothers.” Natalja Sticco
